THE WORLDS OIL Supply
Now a day the world has been using up the worlds oil supply it takes a very long time for it to form but it takes such little time to use it all up. For example of the use of oil more than 95% of the world’s transportation uses oil like Planes, Cars, Tractors and a lot more vehicles. Paul Roberts says in his book The End of Oil “around 2030 our oil production will be on the peak of termination because we probably would have used up all of the crude oil”. Soon when the non O.P.E.C [Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries] countries run out of oil we will be begging for oil from the O.P.E.C. countries so if the O.P.E.C. countries are short on money they will raise the gas price as much as they want so soon we will be out of oil and we will be flat broke mattering the price the O.P.E.C. countries make their oil so the O.P.E.C. countries will b rich where the non O.P.E.C. countries will be broke because of oil so we will need to find another source of energy. These O.P.E.C. countries include Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and
Venezuela. These countries controlled the Middle East and the
Middle East has 65% of the Worlds oil. Still so when the oil supply is only available in the O.P.E.C. regions we will have to pay their price no matter how ridiculous it may be. So before that happens we are figuring out how to make cars that will run something but oil. For example a gas electric hybrid or a wind or solar or infact a geo-thermal car. So we are thinking what we make that doesn’t run on gas so when we run out of oil we will be prepared.

Turkey
Dear Frank,
In my life I have been very successful but my life hasn’t been the same ever since World War One (WW1) where theOttoman Empire was broken up because they sided with the wrong side. That’s how theOttoman Empire lost the war. The only thing remaining of the Ottoman Empire is my home town of
Istanbul.
Istanbul isn’t your average city. It’s actually sitting on top of two continents. Now you don’t hear that every day. Ever since the end of World War One. My people have been under control of a new leader his name is Mustafa Ataturk but we call him Kemal Ataturk it means father of the Turks. Even though some of my people consider themselves European or Asian they still practice Muslim faith. The non religious politics have been struggling for control over the turkey government but for a long time we have been holding off the non religious politics from taking total control of the Turkish government and changing if we even worship religion any more. We have been living a good enough life here in
Turkey. Who knows, if the non religious politics take over our happy life could go down the drain and we could go from having a happy and equally balanced out life to a miserable and chaotic life style .They could even split us from our families. Well we shouldn’t think too far into the future we have been lucky because I’ve figured out that my government is planning on joining NATO (
North Atlantic treaty organization) and probably joining the European Union. Still to think my people in
Istanbul have been having a good life. Soon someone will change the way that we live because unfortunately we can’t live like this forever I better enjoy this well it lasts.
Your friend, Larry
